The end of the year is not only about deadlines and to-do lists, but also a rare opportunity to pause, look back, and calmly reflect on the path we’ve taken.
For EasyKitchen, this year has truly been a busy one — with major changes, difficult decisions, steady growth, and a clear sense that the project has matured significantly. We worked hard to make EasyKitchen more convenient, faster, and more useful in real, everyday work.
In this article, we don’t just want to list what has been done, but to share how EasyKitchen has changed over the year, what has become especially important to us, and with what mindset we are entering the new year together with you.
A Pivotal Year for EasyKitchen
This year can truly be described as a powerful one, without any exaggeration. An enormous amount of time and effort was invested to fully transition EasyKitchen and all its add-ons to the version 5 architecture.
The work was large-scale and challenging. Not everything was completed by the end of the year: EasyClassic is still in progress, and some facades still need polishing. But the most important part is done — the core of the system has been fully обновлён. EasyKitchen 5 has become noticeably more functional, faster, and more flexible than its predecessor, and this is already felt in everyday work.
Special attention should be given to EasyCabinets 5. The add-on received a new, more universal logic that makes it possible to create virtually any structure based on just three core elements: the cabinet, the structure, and the element. Fewer limitations — maximum freedom.
Libraries and Dynamics
Over the course of the year, the EasyKitchen library has grown significantly. We added many new elements and modules that expand furniture design capabilities and make it possible to create increasingly precise, well-thought-out, and refined products.
Dynamic features were not overlooked either. The new lighting profiles alone are worth mentioning:
- light switch-on animation;
- color temperature change literally in a single click.
Visually appealing, intuitive, and — what’s especially rewarding — clients are delighted with the result.
EasyKitchen Today
Even artificial intelligence is now aware of EasyKitchen.
We consistently rank at the top among furniture design software and are recognized as one of the industry leaders. For a small, focused project, this is a truly significant achievement.
About the Community
We’d also like to give special mention to the Russian-speaking Telegram community — just look at how much it has grown!
A year ago, there were fewer than 600 of us. Today, there are almost 1,700. That says a lot.
We’ve recently created a community for English-speaking users. If English is more convenient for you, you’re very welcome to join!
And what about the YouTube channel? We now have over 9,000 subscribers!
We truly listen to you. Many changes and improvements have appeared precisely thanks to your ideas, questions, and suggestions. You are not just users — in many ways, you help define the direction in which EasyKitchen is developing.

What’s Next
We still have plenty of ideas and work in progress. Some of them have been waiting for final polishing and release for quite a while, and all of it will definitely see the light very soon. In the new year, you can expect strong, truly useful releases.
We also keep your “wish list” in mind. It’s gradually becoming reality — each update addresses a significant part of it. Of course, you immediately add new requests, and we’re only happy about that. EasyKitchen is great, and we genuinely want to keep developing it further!
An Important Change
Starting from the new year, support for EasyKitchen version 4 will be completely discontinued.
All links to it will be removed from the website, and technical support has fully transitioned to version 5.
If you continue using version 4, please keep in mind that we will not be able to reproduce any issues you may encounter and, therefore, won’t be able to assist with resolving them. The best decision is to move to the current version.
The Holidays Are a Great Time to Get Started
The New Year holidays are a rare moment when you can work without rush — try new tools, calmly explore the details, and experiment without the pressure of deadlines.
Many users choose this time to get to know EasyKitchen more closely: learn the core logic, build a few trial projects, and understand the libraries and settings. This kind of start makes it possible to enter the working year with a confident tool at hand, without the feeling that you need to “catch up urgently.”
EasyKitchen is about comfortable, thoughtful work. And the holidays are the perfect time to begin at your own pace.
